EARLY CHILDHOOD CONNECTIONS CHILDCARE GRANT PROJECT
LEVEL II HISTORY: PROJECT #2 "PLANTS AND GARDENS"

Dear Parents,
I am so proud to announce that our engagement and collaboration with Kohl Children’s Museum for the Early Childhood Connection Program has completed with a big success! An evaluator from the museum came to our room twice to witness our investigations on the “Project Plants”, and was amazed from our knowledge and excitement to learn! The children were proud to share what they know and how they have learned during the project time!
The project engagement was such a unique and wonderful experience for all; it helped us discover and empower our capabilities as young investigators; it helped us strengthen our friendships and to learn in the way we felt was meaningful to us. We grew to be scientific thinkers and problem solvers- we learned skills that will help us so much in our future school experiences!
Thank you for your support! We are grateful for your appreciation!

Sincerely,
Miss Eva

I am thrilled to share with you that our class has been accepted to participate in Kohl Children’s Museum and Early Childhood Connections Childcare Project Level II. The program for the school year 2012-2013 includes a 3-day professional development component for teachers conducted by Dr. Judy Harris Helm, interactive learning experiences for the students at Kohl Children’s Museum, and family passes to the museum.  Programming content will address Illinois Learning Standards.
